Description
You've done the work. You've researched agents, pitched your manuscript, submitted to any press with open submissions. You've waited. And waited. You know your book is good enough. You worked hard writing it. You worked with an editor. Your beta readers loved it. How long will you have to wait?
The world of publishing is overwhelming. It's frustrating. It can even shake the nerves of writers with well-received books released from major houses. The more you consider it, the more horror stories you hear, the less you want to go that route. Your manuscript deserves better. But what are you supposed to do?
Perhaps you should publish it yourself.
Great! Yes! Wonderful!
So, how does that work?
Let us help you.
The Broadleaf Writers Association is pleased to present its first Self-Publishing Seminar! Join us Saturday, March 16th, 2019 at the Cobb Galleria, and learn from writers who have successfully published their own work! Whether you're looking to print new work, or take the rights you've regained from books previously published, our panelists are here to guide you through the process and offer you plenty of tips and resources to ease the journey.
We'll tackle it all: Which printing company should I use? How do I design a killer cover? eBook or print? Or both? Where can I find a good editor, and how thoroughly should my manuscript be edited? What kind of costs are involved? How do I get my book into bookstores and libraries? What kind of marketing plan should I consider?
It can be overwhelming. But you can do it. We can help.
Take the step toward publication. Join us and learn how to navigate the world of the self-published author.
