Trade Secrets: Master Class | Bacon
Intensive workshops focused on a specialized cooking technique, specific product or unique dish.
Bacon can easily be described as a staple in Canadian kitchens. This class is for people serious about their bacon. See all the different stages of bacon making in one day!Examine the principles behind curing and smoking pork belly transforming it to bacon. Try your hand at cooking techniques that will ensure your bacon doesn’t end up too chewy or too crispy, building an incredible BLT (bacon, lettuce & tomato) sandwich to enjoy at the end of class. Finally, bring home the bacon! All participants will have the opportunity to take home 1lb of finished bacon from class.

$80 per person (+ service fee*)
This class has a maximum capacity of 14 students.
Safety regulations require students wear closed toe shoes when participating in any cooking class.
Classes are for students 16 years and older.
Participants will be provided with an apron and all necessary tools and equipment.
Menus, recipes and instructors are subject to change as required.
If you need to cancel a class, it is possible to get a refund (less the service fee) up to 7 days before the date of the event via your universe.com account. A credit note may be issued for cancellations received by email (admin@stratfordchef.com) a minimum of 48 hours before the event.
Please note that there are no credit notes or refunds for missed classes or classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the event.
