Since the inception of movies began with The Birth of a Nation, the power of cinematic expression for persons of darker hues has gravely impacted our values, altered Black history and undermined culture, pride, and acceptance of self-love. Post film discussions will go deeper, discussing racism, sexism, colorism, classism, Black hair, and more!
A $60 All Day Pass allows you entrance into the Theater in the Round curated short films and discussions held on the main level of ITC, any of the panel discussions on the basement lower level, and access to see exhibits which include: the Black Quilter's Quilt Exhibit, Black Fashion Week and other museum offerings.
