Inspired by the style of Jackie Kennedy, Alexander McQueen and Oliver Rousteing, this two-time college grad has been modeling since the age of 14. As a model, host, beauty pageant queen, brand ambassador and creative director in the industry for 10 years, Midori Amae is a moving force towards the future of beauty and fashion. After back-to-back seasons in MBFW, NYFW and Couture Fashion Week, she became DCW50's America's Next Top Model Fan Favorite winner and, months later, Creative Director for i-Fashion Magazine, a fashion photography magazine with over 800,000 subscribers. Born and raised in Los Angeles California, at the tender age of 18 months, the designer began her career as an actress. By the time she was a tween, she appear in over 30 movies and 12 commercials and movies such as "THE KARATE KID 3","LA LAW", "FERRIS BUELLERs DAY OFF", and Rodney Dangerfields,"WHERES RODNEY"TV show, the list goes on. She would later go on to become a Model for Vogue Modeling Productions at the age of 12, traveling the world shooting print adds and by age 13 gracing the fashion runways. The Designer has designed for several Celebrities such as Farrah Abraham, Torrei Hart and Rick Mora. In 2014, The designer made her debut back to television as a featured Fashion Designer on a new Reality TV show called, Americas It Girl.
