Time to Lose your LOCKDOWN BLUES! Stone Hall Sessions is back and pleased and proud to present Al Lerman - LIVE in Concert as our first post-pandemic show.
Celebrated multi-instrumentalist bluesman Al Lerman is considered among the top harmonica players in the country, and he has been heard on countless recordings and live sessions. His prowess on the harmonica has earned him eleven Maple Blues Award nominations, while his engaging and dry wit has earned him a loyal following, building a solid career touring as an acoustic solo act. Al was founder and leader of the much-loved band Fathead, garnering two JUNO Awards.
Al has a legacy of songs that few Canadian Blues artists can match. With a great knowledge of the old blues tradition on both harmonica and guitar, he brings that sensibility to songs that are written about his own contemporary life and times.
His 2016 CD Slow Burn made the esteemed world-wide list of Top 100 Blues Albums. That same year he also garnered a Maple Blues Award nomination for Acoustic Act Of The Year.
His newest album Northern Bayou was released in 2019 to rave reviews
