By popular demand, two additional watercolor painting for beginners and up will be held in February at the Trout Lake Nature Center. One is on February 8 in the middle of the week. The second is on February 25 on a weekend.
Have you ever seen a bird, butterfly or flower that you wanted to capture its beauty or whimsey? Artists since the dawn of time have used nature for inspiration and you can too. Watercolor artist Ellen Westerholm will teach four watercolor painting classes at the Trout Lake Nature Center.
Schedule for the upcoming classes is:
Feb. 25, from 10:00 to 12:00 — bird
Mar. 18, from 10:00 to 12:00 — Rabbit
Mar. 29, from 1:30 to 3:30 — Mushroom
Westerholm supplies are needed materials—paints, brushes and art paper. Cost per class is $50 includes materials needed and facilities entry fee. Class size is limited to allow for more personalized instruction.
