AT BAYFRONT FESTIVAL PARK IN DULUTH As the sun sets on the waterfront of Lake Superior on July 21, 2019, Honor the Earth will be celebrating with the Water Is Life Festival to kick-off the 7th Annual Water Not Oil Tour. The festivities will begin at 1:00 pm at Bayfront Festival Park in Duluth, MN. Please join us for the: 2019 Water Is Life Festival: Kick-Off Event for the Love Water Not Oil Tour Featuring Chastity Brown Sunday, July 21, 2019 Bayfront Festival Park350 Harbor Dr, Duluth, MN 55802 This July 21st we invite the public to join Honor the Earth for the Water Is Life Festival at Bayfront Festival Park on the waterfront of Lake Superior in Duluth, MN. This year we celebrate the water with powerful music from Chastity Brown , Maria Isa, David Huckfelt, Corey Medina & other special guests. This is a family friendly venue, with free entry for children under 10. The festival will feature a a free morning parade called a Procession of the Species, then as the festival begins in the afternoon, an all-day native-led market with a local and diverse selection of unique artist wares, delicious food, and allied groups and organizations. Early Bird Tickets are available until the end of July 19th for $20 that includes. After that, day of General Admission Tickets purchased at the doors are $30. If you're interested in sponsoring the event, a General Admission Ticket + Individual Event Sponsorship is $500. The funds raised from the festival help Honor the Earth continue applying pressure on Enbridge to stop the Line 3 pipeline, proposed to transport tar sands oil over 1,000 miles from Hardisty, Alberta to Superior, Wisconsin, right through the heart of Anishinaabe territory and some of the most sensitive watersheds, cleanest lakes and the most abundant wild rice beds in the world, including the headwaters of the Mississippi River and Lake Superior.
