About the Awards Held at the Roundhouse in London, the Yahoo Sports Technology Awards is the leading global celebration of technology-led innovation across the international sports sector. The Awards is an annual presentation of awards for outstanding advances in sports technology. Given by the Sports Technology Awards Group and judged by over 40 leading influencers from the world of sport, these awards recognize excellence through the sports industry. There are six brands shortlisted for every category, with one outright winner being awarded the coveted YSTA Trophy in each. The Awards was first held in 2014, with Yahoo Sport taking headline sponsorship for the first time in 2018. The Awards attract hundreds of entries from more than 30 countries and 50 sports. Guests on the night include leading industry figures, technology visionaries and elite athletes who have flown in from around the world to witness which brands will be claiming the 'Oscars of Sports Technology’.
