Join us to a peaceful weekend getaway to immerse ourselves in nature while we unwind, recharge and reconnect. Pack your camping gear and get ready for a weekend of yoga, meditation, hiking, tie dye, picnic, outdoor cooking, bonfires and S'more! The campsite would be in Mt San Antonio - only about an hour away from LA. Space is limited to 10 guests. You can expect an intimate, laid back and equal parts fun and relaxing weekend. Highlights of the trip: Daily Yoga & Meditation in Nature Curated moderate hiking route with amazing view and historical mine Picnic lunch, instructor-led outdoor cooking and morning smoothies, 5 meals are included in the ticket (including one morning smoothie w/protein each person on day 2) S'more & Tea mixer Sage & Tie-dye hours Fireside yoga &meditation Campsite's paid for, vegan options for meals are available w/ add-on ticket purchased at least 48 hours before the trip) What's not included? Camping Gear (tents, flashlights, sleeping bags, water bottles, etc) Alcohol Yoga mats Can I bring RV/Trailer? Yes, RV/Trailer is allowed. How about parking? Each group of two can bring one vehicle Day pass and parking in the campsite would be included in the ticket When should I arrive/leave? The weekend retreat officially starts Thursday at 5:00 p.m., but you can arrive any time on Thursday after 2:00 p.m. if you would like to come early. We must leave the campsite on Saturday before 11:00 a.m. What should I bring? Camping gear (tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, pillow) Warm clothes and hiking clothes, hiking shoes Yoga gear (mat, clothes, any props you wish to use) Water bottle and 2 -3 gallon jugs of water, alcohol if you want Shower stuff, toiletries, shower towel (bathrooms are on site with flush toilets, shower would be provided by the host with an outdoor solar shower and shower tent) Bug Spray & Sunscreen Specific snacks if you want them Hammocks would be great for resting in the day *the campsite is a 10 minute drive to the nearest grocery store if you happen to forget something or need something throughout the weekend. What to expect: Mountain Oak is an intimate campground with beautiful views of hills and sunset in Mount San Antonio. The spaces we have reserved are not covered, and depending on the weather it can get warm during the day and cool at night. The campsites are pretty shaded and you can still bring umbrella/pop-up tent for shades if you want. We are about 3 minute walk to Jackson Lake. The water level may be low due to the dry weather. We can do a picnic/yoga/BBQ there. A day hike is planned which we will most likely drive to. There are bathrooms at the campsite and hot-water showers as well. The weekend will be pretty laid back, with a mix of movement and adventure. You can choose to participate in as much or as little as you like! What's the cancellation policy? Cancellation has to be made at least 7 days prior to the start date of the event. The fee charged by Eventbrite would not be refundable.
