Purple Pride 5K - Saturday, February 25, 2017 - Race Start 9 am
2017 marks the start of a new era for Orlando City, as we open our new home - Orlando City Stadium - in the heart of downtown Orlando. The 3rd Annual Purple Pride 5K will start and finish at the Stadium with a post-race party in the Fanzone and a portion of the Stadium concourse. After the race, be one of the first to get a look at the rest of the Stadium during our Community Open House.
The Purple Pride 5K will be capped at maximum of 2,500 runners and each 5K participant will receive a commemorative die-cast medal after crossing the finish line. Only 2,500 runners will get their hands on this one-year-only medal that will commemorate the Stadium opening.
Each runner will also receive a race t-shirt and one ticket to a select Orlando City match during the 2017 MLS season. In addition to the stadium Open House, the post-race celebration will include a race DJ, complimentary runner refreshments, interactive games for the entire family and discount food and beer offerings inside the stadium.
Purple Pride 5K is presented by Orlando Health, SunPass, jetBlue, Environmental Painting Alternatives and Floor & Decor. Additional partners include Publix, Academy Sports + Outdoors, Grand Bohemian Hotel and Advocare.

Entry fee and any additional match tickets purchased are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Course Map
Match Tickets & Additional Match Tickets:Each runner will receive one ticket to a select Orlando City match during the 2017 MLS season as part of this package. During the online registration process, you will have the ability to choose which match you would like to attend.

In addition, you will have the ability to purchase additional tickets to the match you choose at a discounted price of $25. This will be available starting on February 15. Look for instructions in your confirmation email.
Packet Pick-Up Information & PoliciesIn addition to race day, there are 2 additional days and locations of pack pick-up for your convenience. See below for details.
You must present a form of government issued photo ID in order to pick up your packet. The only exception to this will be parents picking up packets for their children, however the parent will still need to present a photo ID.
You may pick up a packet for a friend, family member or co-worker, however you must present a written note (email or in handwriting) that indicates you have that permission AND a photocopy of that person’s government issued photo ID.

Who gets a T-shirt?All runners, up to 2,500, that successfully complete the registration and payment processes are guaranteed a free race t-shirt, which will be given to runners at packet pick-up. (sizes not guaranteed)
What if I need help along the way?Qualified emergency medical professionals are available to provide assistance at the start/finish lines.
Can I participate in the event with my dog?Sorry, as much as we love our pets too, the safety of participants is our main concern. Therefore, we do not allow pets on the course.
Can I participate with a stroller?Yes, nurturing future generations of runners is a priority and demonstrating healthy lifestyles to our kids is special. Please, however, start in the later part of the runners.
What do I do with my personal items while I’m running?You can leave your items in your car or have a family member watch over your personal belongings.
Should I bring my own water?Water will be provided on the course at approximately mile 1.5, as well as at the finish line.
Where do I park?Arriving 1 hour early is strongly recommended due to traffic congestion. Area parking garages available, hourly rates may apply.
