Often, the news breaks and it's several years before we see something on stage about it. Such is the nature of theater making. 48 HOUR FORUM is designed to take a look at these events in a more immediate way. A 48-hour play festival where five playwrights, five directors and twenty actors create five short plays in 48 hours inspired by the news of the day. Five short plays presented in one evening inspired by the news of the day, created in just 48 hours. Playwrights Keith Josef Adkins, Ismail Khalidi, Mona Mansour, Pia Wilson and John Walch join a roster of terrific actors and directors. All profits benefit Noor Theatre and their work to develop, support and produce the work of theatre artists of Middle Eastern descent.
