Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, and out of an abundance of caution, we are moving the 5th Annual Broadleaf Writers Conference online. You'll still receive all the great panels, workshops, one-on-one sessions, and opportunities to chat with fellow attendees and speakers, but from the cozy confines of your home. Additionally, we have reduced our registration cost for 2020 to a flat rate of $175! The full announcement and further information can be found here. The 5th Annual
Broadleaf Writers Conference will return October 17-18, 2020! To honor
this milestone year, we’ve assembled one of the strongest list of writers you will
ever find at a conference! As well, our list of agents, editors and publisher
representatives will be deeper than ever! Combined with educational sessions and
workshops, the 5
th Annual Broadleaf Writers Conference will offer
you all that you need to refine and improve your craft and get you on the road
toward publication!
Attending
a writing conference is an opportunity to invest in yourself as a writer, to
learn from experts, and to become a part of a community of writers that
inspire, uplift and support one another!
With
your registration, you will receive access to all sessions of the 5
th
Annual Broadleaf Writers Conference and you will be able to schedule a
one-on-one with a literary agent! If you’re not

and
email us with
your choice! Sessions fill quickly, so don’t miss out on your chance to meet
the agent of your choice! Additionally, we have added one-on-on
mentoring sessions with an author or agent of your choice. This is great opportunity to learn more about writing and the publishing industry without the pressure of a pitch!
On
Saturday, we will once again present a
First Pages Critique featuring a panel of
agents and publishers representatives. Once you have registered, be sure to
submit your first page and take advantage
of this fantastic opportunity to get your manuscript on the right path! In addition, you may choose to schedule a personal ten-minute
one-on-one First Page critique with NYT bestselling author David L. Robbins! And on Sunday, we will hold a Query Letter Critique! Now, you'll have the opportunity to have your pitch critiqued by literary agents!

Refund Policy: We understand that sometimes, things happen. You've registered, but you can't make it. However, as costs to facilitate the conference are applied in advance, you may not receive the entirety of your registration costs back. Up to 30 days before the event (Thursday, September 17th), you can receive 100% of your cost back. If you wish to receive a refund after that date, you will receive a portion of your cost. Any refunds processed after September 17th, but prior to October 9th will have a 25% penalty added. Any refunds processed after October 9th will have a 50% penalty added.
