We’re excited to announce that, for the first time in 15 years, we’re hosting an in-house CrossFit competition at 908 Athletics Berkeley Heights—and we’d love for you to take part!
Introducing the 908 Infinity Gauntlet —a same-sex partner competition inspired by Marvel’s Infinity Gauntlet series. It’s a great chance to test your fitness, work together, and have some fun.

Three Workouts
This competition is for all of our members—whether you’re experienced or just looking to challenge yourself in a new way. Over the next month, we’ll be programming the competition workouts into our daily classes, so you’ll get plenty of chances to practice.
The entry fee is $50 per person, which also includes our HybridAF 24/7 open gym access at both of our locations until the event. It’s a perfect opportunity for you and your partner to prepare and train together.
We’re also looking for judges and volunteers to help out with setup and breakdown. If you’re interested, please sign up here!

WOD 1 - “Bro-nana Split” (AMRAP 8)
40 Toes to bar (Sx = Synchro Medball passing sit up)
30 Synchro Box jump overs (Rx = 24/20") (Sx = Same but can step)
20 Synchro Db Snatch (Rx = 50/35# - Alt arms)(Sx = 35/20#)
*RX - Both athletes begin at their boxes. Work can be split as desired.
*SX - Both athletes begin at their abmat w/ the medball in between them.

WOD 2 - 2 Part workout - 10 minute running clock
Part A - “Kneel and BOB”
For Time (6 min cap):
20 Front rack lunges (split as desired)
8 Synchro Burpees over the bar
16 Front rack lunges
8 Synchro Burpees over the bar
12 Front rack lunges
8 Synchro Burpees over the bar
8 Front rack lunges
8 Synchro Burpees over the bar
4 Front rack lunges
*Rx = 135/95#, Sx = 95/65#
*Both athletes must be in the front rack to begin lunges. The rep is counted on lunges when both athletes are standing tall. Athletes begin the burpees on the same side of their respective bars and synchronize on the jump over (Sx can step over)
Part B - “Sit Just Got Real”
In the remaining time build to a 1rm Squat clean
*Sx can be power clean + front squat
*1 athlete lifts at a time
*minimum of 3 lifts/attempts

*Both athletes begin behind a tape line just beyond the rope (backs to the crowd). Athletes can alternate work as desired with a hand tag. Non-working athletes must stay behind the tape line.
*Wall Balls - All men shoot to 10', all women shoot to 9'. Rx = 20/14#, Sx = 14/10#
