Masking Policy:
Masking for this year’s production of ‘A Christmas Carol’ is optional but welcomed. Due to the historic nature of the Campbell House Museum and the unique staging of this production, audience members will often be standing in very close proximity to each other and to the actors, and doing so in rooms of varying sizes. For that reason, please note the following:
1. For the health and safety of both our audiences and our cast, we reserve the right to require anyone exhibiting cold or flu symptoms to wear a mask (if not already doing so). Production staff will provide a mask if required.
2. We reserve the right to change our optional masking policy in response to the recommendations of local health authorities. Should this policy be updated, we will inform ticket buyers by email before their performance.
Mask-Mandatory Performances
For the benefit of patrons who may be immunocompromised or have other health concerns, performances on Thursday December 5th at 6:15pm and Thursday December 12th at 6:15pm are designated as “Mask-Mandatory” performances. All patrons attending these performances will be required to wear a mask at all times while inside the Campbell House Museum.
Please Note the Following:
Due to the immersive and mobile nature of this production, audience members will be required to stand for a significant portion of the 95 minute performance, navigate stairs on multiple occasions, and will, at times, be in close proximity to other audience members. A very limited number of seats can be reserved for patrons unable to stand for extended periods of time. Please contact the Campbell House Museum at 416-597-0227 ext. 2, or sarah@campbellhousemuseum.ca, to confirm availability of these seats and to reserve in advance.
While this production is family friendly, it does touch on some mature themes and includes moments of intensity, and is recommended for children 10 and older. Babes in arms are not permitted for safety reasons.
Latecomer Policy:
Latecomers may be admitted but only up to a certain point in the performance approximately 5-10 minutes after the start of the show, and strictly at the discretion of the Front-of-House staff. Because of the mobile nature of this production, admitting latecomers after the cut-off point would be disruptive for the performance. Unfortunately we are unable to issue refunds for latecomers who cannot be admitted. We thank you for your understanding.
Refund and Exchange Policy:
There are no refunds or exchanges. Exceptions may be made in extenuating circumstances and strictly at the discretion of Campbell House staff. If an exchange is granted (subject to availability) and the new performance is in a higher price tier, the ticket holder(s) will have to pay the price difference.
If there is a suspected or confirmed case of Covid in your party, please call 416-597-0227 ext. 2 or contact sarah@campbellhousemuseum.ca before attending your performance to discuss options.
