Please join the World Affairs Council for a discussion with Council on Foreign Relations President Richard Haass, as he discusses his new book The World: A Brief Introduction. In the book and discussion with World Affairs Council President Jacqueline Miller, Haass will explore the critical questions and issues shaping the world and, in turn, our lives. On the 19th anniversary of the September 11, 2001, attacks on the United States, we’ll also explore current challenges to United States security, including the pandemic, widespread unemployment, and internal divisions at home, and the rise of a more assertive China, proliferation, and climate change around the world.
