Description

Our final performance of the season will celebrate music written for the big-screen with a program of famous movie tunes and melodies. After the enormous success of this program in 2017 we have prepared another selection of well-known themes from award winning movies that will appeal to all generations. Well know tunes such as “Lord of the Rings”, by Howard Shore, "Mission Impossible" by Lalo Schifrin, "Superman", "Harry Potter" by John Williams, "Doctor Zhivago" by Maurice Jarre and "Pink Panther" by Henry Mancini will be part of the program. This program will feature several orchestra members performing as soloists and will be conducted by John Palmer.
