Acting for the Stage at the Push Comedy Theater
Through theater games, guided improvisation activities, and scene work, students learn how to develop a character within a story. This class focuses on forming a solid foundation for acting and growth as an individual, performing artist.
Students examine devised and scripted work, explore the use of body, voice, and imagination to create characters, learn ensemble-building and acting techniques as well as how to approach a script, scene or monologue.
This 6 week course is geared towards those that want to explore acting for the stage and work with intention towards creating believable characters and moments, whether for drama or comedy.
