The Art of Brooklyn Film Festival, in cooperation with corporate partners HBO, Investors Bank, and Focus Camera, presents a FREE special panel, open to the public, celebrating the unsung heroes of independent film: actors.AoBFF is hosting a fun, informal roundtable discussion with some of the actors featured in this year’s films alongside industry vets and stars. Rising stars Nico Tortorella of TV Land's Younger and Leslie Lopez of the hit series Power will join veteran actor Craig “muMs” Grant (Birdman, Oz), and comedian and actress Abbi Crutchfield (The Mysteries of Laura, You, Your Brain and You), among others.Actress, Brooklyn icon and AoBFF judge Annabella Sciorra will appear on the panel as a special guest to discuss her indie beginnings and commitment to supporting independent film in Brooklyn. She says, “I love what the Art of Brooklyn Film Festival is doing. Their mission to focus on Brooklyn films and filmmakers speaks to me because I was born and raised here and it influenced who I am as an artist.
