We are happy to announce that this year GlobeMed at the University of Washington will be hosting our 6th annual Benefit Dinner! Ahadi: Celebrating Commitment to Global Health will take place at the Intellectual House on the 18th of May. Join us for a lively evening featuring a silent auction, keynote speakers, a fabulous catered dinner, live entertainment, and our very own GlobeMed wine! We can't wait to see you there! GlobeMed’s mission is to instill and promote healthy global work practices within our members by holding weekly chapter meetings, where we discuss global health topics and engage in critical thinking, challenging the power dynamics that can arise when you have a party that's giving aid and a party that's receiving aid. Our chapter is partnered with NECOFA, a Kenyan grassroots organization committed to uplifting and empowering its community through projects in sustainable agriculture, education, and environmental justice.
