Paz-Soldan Originally from Peru, Carlos is an I.T. professional and entrepreneur and has worked for and with companies large and small in South America, Africa, and North America. After completing his MBA at UofT in 1984, Carlos founded Tenet Computer Group Inc., a Toronto-based IT solutions provider. In a successful exit in 2016, Carlos sold Tenet while retaining ownership of the software division to launch Techmien Corp. to continue developing innovative solutions for government and corporations. Carlos also participates in several advisory boards and volunteers as the President of Hispanotech, an association dedicated to accelerating the success of Latin American technology professionals in Canada, and with the Alma Children’s Education Foundation to improve education in remote regions of South America. Camilo Lievano Senior Technology Executive with over 25 years of experience in Management Consulting. Focused on creating value through Business Intelligence, Analytics and Artificial Intelligence solutions. Camilo is a Director within Deloitte’s Omnia Artificial Intelligence practice, and over his career, he has held multiple leadership roles, including Analytics & BI Practice Lead, Cognitive Solutions and Artificial Intelligence Practice Lead. He has been the Delivery Partner & Executive overseeing complex engagements at Canadian, North American, and multinational companies. Camilo brings hands-on experience in the real-life application of artificial intelligence and Analytical solutions, from the definition of AI strategies and use case identification through development, implementation, and final roll-out.
