Kind Face Creative celebrates the upcoming release of Angie’s McMahon’s ‘Piano Salt’ EP, by presenting a global re-screening of her Online Solo Piano Concert, due to popular demand.
This time we welcome 22 year-old LA native, Jensen McRae (solo guitar). Jensen is a bi-racial black and Jewish woman who has grown up predominantly in white spaces. Jensen’s music explores aspects of identity, race, gender, depression and unrequited love. Jensen is currently working on her debut album with Grammy Award winning producer, Rahki (Eminem, Kendrick Lamar).
Elements of Angie’s riveting, stripped-down companion piece to last year’s debut album Salt (Top 5 ARIA album) were recorded during this online concert. Angie says of the concert, “Piano is the first instrument I learnt and the one that made me first love singing… the concert and EP feels like a return to my piano-cover-loving inner kid.”
