Arboriculture Australia Annual Conference Trade Exhibition and Australian Tree Climbing Championship Alice Springs Convention Centre 18 to 21 May 2019 Registrations have now closed for this event through Universe. You can still register by calling Arboriculture Australia at 1300 664 374. 2019 will see us venture into the outback of Alice Springs with its stunning sunsets, unique flora and fauna and glorious mountain ranges. Local Alice Springs speakers will add the flavour of the red centre to our conference tour and presentations; they'll be joined by renowned Australian and international speakers who will be announced soon. Check our website for more details Making the most of our unique conference location, the ATCC will be held at the historic Alice Springs Telegraph Station, our Conference Tour takes in the flora of the Todd River and looks at the arid species of the Olive Pink Botanic Garden and our social events include exceptional Alice Springs experiences starting with a traditional Welcome to Country. You'll also experience an outback BBQ, hear from and watch indigenous artists and performers and get up close and personal with the local wildlife. Australian Tree Climbing Championship: 18 May Trade Exhibition: 19 to 21 May Annual Conference: 20 & 21 May Terms and Conditions Discounts Member discounts are available for current Arboriculture Australia members only. Loyalty discounts are available for current members who attended the 2018 conference in Hobart. Cancellation and Refund Policy Cancellations must be notified in writing via email to conference@arboriculture.org.au Cancellation before 12 April 2018 will incur a $100.00 administration fee. Cancellation on or after 13 April 2018 will be at the discretion of the organising committee. All refunds will be processed after the conference. Substitute delegates are welcome without penalty, but name changes must be advised to Arboriculture Australia via email to conference@arboriculture.org.au. There will be no refunds for any booked delegate who does not attend on the day. Accommodation Cancellation Policy Cancellations made within 30 days of arrival will incur a cancellation fee equal to one night's accommodation Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival will incur a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the booking. Cancellations must be notified in writing via email to conference@arboriculture.org.au Disclaimer In the event of industrial disruption, or other unforeseen circumstances that disrupt the conference the conference organisers accept no responsibility. the information on the conference website and in the printed collateral is correct at the time of publication. However, the conference organisers reserve the right to change information. The conference organisers disclaim any and all liability to any person in respect of the consequences of any failure to operate, accident or injury which may occur on services reserved. the right is reserved to add, withdraw or substitute speakers and vary the advertised programme. If the conference is cancelled for any reason beyond the organiser's control, there is no right of exchange and no obligation assumed by the organisers for arranging a substitute speaker. In the unlikely event of cancellation of the conference, the liability of the organisers is limited to the return of paid fees and where an event may be postponed and the option of re-attending is not suitable, a cancellation can be made by writing to the conference organiser and on acceptance, paid fees will be returned less $100 for administration costs. Insurance Delegates are encouraged to take out personal travel and medical insurance which includes loss or damage of personal possessions, including loss of registration and accommodation fees through cancellation. Privacy Unless you indicate otherwise on the registration form, the organisers will include your name on the list of conference participants distributed to delegates and sponsors.
