PANEL INFORMATION | FROM HAWAI'I TO HOLLYWOOD | We'll be turning the spotlight to rising film and television creatives from Hawai'i who have made a splash into Hollywood. Featuring Alika Tengan (Director, MOLOKA'I BOUND - premiering at HIFF), Chris Kekaniokalani Bright (Writer, Disney's upcoming LILO & STITCH live-action), and Erin Lau (Episodic Director of RESCUE: HI-SURF and Winner of Best Hawaii Short Film for "Inhertance" at the 2023 HIFF).
The conversation will be moderated by Honolulu-born Michelle K. Sugihara, the Executive Director of CAPE (Coalition of Asian Pacifics in Entertainment) with special remarks from MOLOKA'I BOUND Producer and CAPE Board Member Nina Yang Bongiovi.
