Audible Live: The Sun King – Audible, the world’s leading provider of spoken word entertainment, is hosting an enthralling launch event to celebrate the launch of its latest podcast, The Sun King. The Audible original series is hosted by veteran broadcaster David Dimbleby, one of the UK’s most respected politics and current affairs journalists. The Sun King charts the seemingly inexorable rise of Rupert Murdoch, beginning when the 38-year-old Australian newspaper executive arrived in London in 1968 and he and Dimbleby met for the first time.
Audible Live: The Sun King offers an exclusive, in conversation with, panel event with veteran broadcaster David Dimbleby, who is joined by journalist and broadcaster Miranda Sawyer and Olivier Award winning James Graham, playwright of Ink, a play that leads with the birth of this country's most influential newspaper and the rise of a young and rebellious Rupert Murdoch.
The evening will see the panel discuss the themes explored in the Audible original series, as well as discuss the infamous parts of Rupert Murdoch’s story.
