Description
Back at it again! Another night of comedy at Beacon Brewing.
Bobby Warrener made his comedic debut at an open mic at only 19 years old. Since then, he has captured audiences around the country with his laid-back style and well written jokes. His often self-deprecating but relatable comedy has earned him spots on JFL NW, Sled Island, and regular rotation in Yuk Yuk’s clubs from Vancouver to Nova Scotia. Watching Bobby perform, you never know what to expect with his often surprising but always hilarious punchlines.
Alistair Ogden is one of Canada’s rising young comedic talents, Alistair’s dry humour and self-deprecating silliness won him the CBC Next Up Competition in 2019, earning him a televised set on CBC. He’s since performed at the Halifax Comedy Festival, Just For Laughs Vancouver, Toronto SketchFest, and at comedy clubs across Canada. He’s currently based in Vancouver, where you can watch him host his show Comedy Pants on the first Friday of every month.
Andrew Mack lives in a semi-abandoned house somewhere on Vancouver Island and spends his days writing jokes and trying to decide what to be when he grows up. His sharp, cleverly-worded, and sometimes cynical material has led to performances at the Pretty Good Comedy Festival and on Yuk Yuk’s Top Talent Showcase, but he has yet to achieve his ultimate comedy goal of wrestling a goat on stage.
Elyott Ryan is a young comedian from Victoria. His timid demeanour is quickly shattered by his dynamic and audacious jokes. He is a husband and father of two young children. He breaks down his life, fatherhood and health food store living.
Bob Warwick is the newbie on the show. He is a gay man who grew up in Saskatchewan, Alberta. His parents desperately want to know which stories he tells on stage.
