We are bringing a fresh new crew of (mostly) Vancouver Island comics!
Bryan O'Gorman is a professional weirdo who has headlined comedy shows all over the world in dozens of countries including England, Canada, Singapore, Switzerland, Croatia, Serbia, Australia and the USA to name eight. This past January, Bryan's second album opened at number one on iTunes comedy charts and remained there for several hours. A live performer since childhood, this joke of a man honed his stand up skills in the legendary Toronto comedy scene and has refined them on stages throughout the galaxy. Of his many credits, a few include being featured on MTV, Much Music, The Comedy Network, Sirius-XM Radio, The Edinburgh Fringe Festival,The Melbourne Comedy Festival, National Lampoon Radio, the Montreaux comedy festival and the CBC
Syd Bosel was a Vancouver comic, that recently moved to Comox. She's been delighting audiences all over BC, with her musings about the glories of nature, parenting "adult" children, and being married to the same person for 1,000 years. Syd has been voted BC's Funniest New Female Comic and was recently part of a Just for Laughs Originals recording, soon to be released.
Nash Park is an up and coming stand up comedian. He moved to Victoria from Terrace BC. Nash has been regularly performing his high energy, hard hitting stand up to crowd across BC. He recently complete a province wide tour. He produces a monthly Late Night Show in Victoria and a podcast with Okay Dope productions.
Patricia Ellen is a Victoria-based comic whose laugh shares an unfortunate similarity to Seth Rogen’s. Originally from Sahtlam, BC Patricia’s act focuses on her rural upbringing, the family dynamics of “forest gays,” and an ongoing dispute with her sexuality. Though new to comedy Patricia can be seen regularly around town at Phillips Comedy Night and Laugh Riot. Follow her on instagram @paddy_mas to track her mental health.
Evan MacDonald is a hometown boy made good. Evan has been performing on the Island for a few years. He is a funny troubled young man. Please do not make any sudden movements around him while he is on stage.
