**Content warning** On June 6th, join Reel Causes for the NFB documentary Because We Are Girls. Straying from typical portraits of the journey to healing, Because We Are Girls offers a unique and powerful tribute to women’s strength in the face of profound trauma.
There will be a post-film Q&A with filmmaker Baljit Sangra and the sisters: Jeeti, Kira and Salakshana Pooni, along with a representative from community cause Family Services of Greater Vancouver (FSGV).
Online ticket sales close at 5pm on June 6th. Tickets will be $15 at the door.
