The Tank Theater is just 8 short blocks away from the other part of The Sound And Vision Film & Technology Festival, which is happening at The Producers Club Theater at 358 West 44th St, NYC, NY 10036, just walk to 7th Ave (Fashion Ave.), and sprint to either theater, or just spend the day at one theater and enjoy the activities, it doesn't matter because you will be entertained either way. Hidden beneath mountains of century-old film reels the archivist Henri has found fatal evidence that society is soon to collapse. But will he be able to convince his patrons about his discovery? A film playing with sound, space and time. Utilizing surround sound in an experimental way, Palindrome tries to create and encourage a new way to experience cinema - a new spatial cinema, where the fiction is not only limited to the screen, but now also encompasses the whole cinema hall.

AQUARIUM
Aquarium is a choreography of light and motion with a unique perspective on the exquisite beauty that is present in infinite abundance when one focuses attention on the motions of ocean water and its expressive optical qualities. In the first half of the film, composer Max Berlin has created a ‘jazzy’ arrangement of Saint-Saëns’ Aquarium composition (1886, Mouvement VII from the Le carnaval des animaux suite) for bass, piano and percussion that is then followed by an orchestral performance of the original Aquarium composition. Shot in the heavenly Bonaire, Caribbean -- in breaking waves, in tide pools and underwater.
