The Bike Show for non-bikers and aficionados alike. Europe's biggest and best independent annual motorcycle show, on the last bank holiday weekend in May, celebrates the creativity of the new-wave and cafe-racer custom motorcycle culture, with over 240 curated custom motorcycles, unseen in the UK, from all over the world, plus live music, art, photography, and hand-made accessories alongside selected brands, retailers and exhibitors. Set in London's historic and beautiful Tobacco Docks the event is also famous for it's superb hospitality with high quality, healthy street-food from 17 sole-trading vendors, barista coffee, six proper bars and a pub, lounges with over 40 sofas, plus dockside seating, live music, seven live tattoo artists from two shops, and a multi-chair traditional barbershop. This is NOT a motorcycle trade fair, it's an exhibition in a giant pop-up member's club, where everyone is invited. You'll want to hang-out all weekend, with plenty of space to chill-out and enjoy the crowd, the entertainment and the vibe. Bring your camera, bring your mates, your better half, and the kids too. Every element of this unique and privately-run event at London's beautiful and historic Tobacco Dock is hand-picked by the organisers (usually based at the Bike Shed Motorcycle Club in Shoreditch). The exhibited bikes are 'Invitational' selected from the best bike builders in the UK & Europe, with guests from the US, without ropes or barriers to obscure the view or spoil your photos. Every brand, retailer, artist, photographer and exhibitor is selected and approved by us. Every barista, bar tender, burger (or salad-box) and coffee bean is tried & tested, and the organising staff are all bike-loving volunteers and members of the BSMC. The event is extremely family friendly, safe for kids, and enjoyable for non-bike-riders, as well as the custom aficionados. Supported by the mainstream motorcycle industry, the event is sponsored by Dainese Settandadue and Rev'It! apparel, with motorcycle manufacturers; Indian, Triumph, Ducati Scrambler, Royal Enfield, Yamaha & BMW, all exhibiting along side other manufacturers, plus the pro-builders, amateurs and shed-builders. PARKING On-site Motorcycle Parking is FREE in the Wapping Lane bike/car park (not Pennington Street) CLOAKROOM - is FREE KIDS - Under 16 go FREE DOGS - Sadly, only guide-dogs are allowed CASHPOINTS - There aren't any ATMs at Tobacco Dock (so, fill yer wallets first) but most retailers will take cards, and we take card payments for tickets on the door. PUBLIC TRANSPORT Nearest public transport includes stations at Shadwell, Wapping and Tower Gateway. Wapping is 7 minutes walk. BIKE SHED IN OLD ST, SHOREDITCH The Bike Shed Motorcycle Club at 384 Old St in Shoreditch is about 10-15 minutes away from Tobacco Dock. The club/shop/restaurant is open as usual over the weekend, and will be open till 2am on Saturday night. We will be very busy (but we do have loads of room) so if you intend to come for a breakfast, lunch or dinner, we'd strongly recommend that you book a table to avoid a wait. Find out more on Google.
