At IO and Agile, Shuo has invested in and helped various startups globalize and expand into new markets; notable investments include Boom (unicorn), Chariot (acquired by Ford), Checkr (unicorn), Grubmarket, Matternet, Node.io, Rescale and Zenreach. She is also a Lecturer at UC Berkeley and Faculty at Singularity University. Prior, Shuo worked at Goldman Sachs in investment banking, where she was involved in deals including Alibaba’s $21.8 billion IPO, the largest IPO in US history. There, she also helped run the convertibles business and represented the firm on the Board of Women in Finance. Before that, Shuo was at PwC, where she worked on Google’s $12.5 billion acquisition of Motorola and LinkedIn’s $119 million acquisition of SlideShare. She also ran Cashify, a social enterprise for financial literacy. Shuo graduated cum laude from UC Berkeley with a triple major (and 2 minors) in 3 years, and has been a Board Member for Berkeley’s alumni association. She also completed a JD with the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where her work on financial regulation will be soon published by Cambridge University Press. Cherie Liu Managing Partner Outpost Capital as well as the Chief Marketing Officer and Enterprise Partnership Manager of MOAC, a blockchain company based in Silicon Valley. Her responsibilities include expanding the MOAC ecosystem to bring the company’s multi-layer blockchain architecture to a wider audience. Additionally, she has taken a leadership role in forging partnerships with companies looking to embrace blockchain solutions. As a Wall Street veteran, Cherie is focused on investing in and advising blockchain, consumer technology, and cleantech companies. A graduate of both Temple University (Class of 2014) and Columbia University (Master’s degree, Class of 2016), she is experienced in team-building, operations, marketing strategy building, and management. Jeff Dorman Portfolio Manager Arca. In his role, Jeff leads the investment committee and is responsible for portfolio sizing and risk management. Jeff has over 17 years of trading and asset management experience at world renowned firms including Merrill Lynch and Citadel Securities, where he oversaw trading of over $100 million in proprietary capital. Jeff also served as COO of a FinTech company, where he built a social platform that is widely utilized by asset managers and investors. Jeff is a CFA and holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Finance and Economics from Washington University in St. Louis. Jonathan Boos Dir Institutional Sales SharesPost Inc Jonathon also is in charge of Distribution for the Digital Asset Group where he is responsible for the sales and distribution of Digital Securities to the Institutional and High net Worth channels. Jonathan is a senior sales and business development professional focused on strategy, sales and marketing within capital markets, securities, banking and technology. He has a deep understanding of capital markets including derivatives, commodities, hedge funds, private equity, venture capital and other alternative asset classes such as cryptocurrency and alternative payment channels. He has many relationships and experience with high net worth distribution segments including family offices, registered investment advisors, hedge funds, independent broker dealers, wire houses and global private banks. Prior to his role at SharesPost, Jonathan was Head of Sales at BitGo, a Palo-Alto based crypto currency wallet platform where he built and expanded the sales organization to Tokyo, Singapore, London and New York. Prior to that, Jonathan spent a few years with both Thomson Reuters and Sapient Capital Markets on large scale technology led FinTech rollouts. The bulk of Jon’s career however, has been spent in various roles in both sales and trading within Capital Markets, specifically within Equity Derivatives at Deutsche Bank in London, JP Morgan in New York and UBS in Stamford, CT. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University and an Masters in Business Administration (MBA) in Finance from the Wharton School of Business. Jonathan has also been a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) since 2009 and is based in New York City.
