Work will continue to improve the trail from the junction with Lick Creek Trail to the trail end on Grouse Mountain, trail #3081, Umatilla National Forest.

Scout of a possible campsite at trail end
Note: Pets are not to accompany volunteers on a Blues Crew work party due to work safety concerns.

Schedule:
8:00 am – Meet at USFS parking lot on Rose Street in Walla Walla
8:15 am – Depart for Zig Zag Springs Trailhead
9:00 am – Arrive Trailhead. Orientation and safety briefing
Noon – Bring your own lunch
3 pm – Work complete. Discussion and beverages at trailhead. Return to Walla Walla.
What to wear: Boots – no sneakers or sandals
Long pants
Long-sleeved shirt
Gloves
Eye protection (glasses, sun glasses)
Ticks can be present: DEET for self, permethrin for clothes
What to bring: Lunch, snacks and water
"Leave No Trace": Please come prepared to pack out your toilet paper in a sealed plastic bag.
