Calling all biker fans of the late Bobby Ball. On 24th July 2021 (Covid restrictions permitting) we are planning to Ride For Bobby. It promises to be an entertaining event for all bikers so we hope you can join us on this very special day.
This ride out will be a fabulous bikers’ day out which will support fundraising towards The Bobby Ball Foundation and Blood Bikes.
You can come down to the event in convoy from one of the many groups participating (meeting times will be posted here), or come down independently - ALL WELCOME.
MAIN STAGE with entertainment - STALLS - FUNFAIR and much, much more... a FUN DAY for ALL THE FAMILY!!!
10.30am Gates Open for Bikes to park up
11.45am Gates close to Bikers and open to the Public
2.00pm Entertainment Starts on the Main Stage

6.30pm Riders Set Off Home (procession through Lytham)

The Bobby Ball Foundation will use the monies raised from the event towards the 1.5 times life-size bronze statue of Bobby will be based on his 40th birthday appearance, he will have a twinkle in his eye, one leg slightly forward, and his thumb pulling on his right brace, a typically famous Bobby Ball pose. The figure will stand close to the Lowther Pavilion & Theatre in Lowther Gardens, Lowther Terrace, Lytham Saint Annes FY8 5QG. Monies from the event will also be donated to the Blood Bikes. Any surplus funds will be used by The Bobby Ball Foundation for its charitable endeavours to further the work done by Bobby during his life.
