Make Your Own Waves:
The Surfer’s Rules
for Entrepreneurs and Innovators
hosted by Author Louis Patler
with Bianca Valenti, the first female Big Wave World Tour champion, and Special Guests
Like the ocean, the marketplace constantly changes and today's cresting "reward" becomes tomorrow's crashing "risk." Before you venture out, take a lesson from the experts: Big Wave surfers, elite athletes who see big opportunities in big challenges.
Successful entrepreneurs rely on preparation, persistence, and passion. So it's no surprise that countless surfers have pioneered products and launched thriving businesses (GoPro Cameras, O'Neil, Reef, Quicksilver).
Don't miss this opportunity to meet Louis Patler, author of our July “Book of the Month”, Make Your Own Waves: The Surfer’s Rules for Entrepreneurs and Innovators. Louis will read excerpts and discuss with a panel of very special guests how the book has helped them on their journey of successful entrepreneurship.
Topics include:
- What entrepreneurs can learn about planning and strategy from “The Surfer’s Rules"
- The importance of focus, big ideas and collaboration
- Ways to face barriers and learn from setbacks
