With his signature mixing style of blending Cumbia and through the innovative curation of his own events, hellotones has reimagined the bounds of the Latin-American dance genre for both seasoned Cumbia-lovers and music-lovers just getting familiar with the genre.
To celebrate this evolution of Cumbia across the city and to mark the renaissance of PueblaYork underway, BRIC House Party will feature DJ sets from hellotones, plus guest sets from favorite frequent collaborators. ¡Vamos a bailar!
The hellotones Experience
On May 11th, hellotones brings his Electronic Music-influenced, DJ-oriented approach to heavy hitting Cumbia and its sub-genres. hellotones aka “El Hijo de PuebaYork” has spent the better part of 2 years opening up Cumbia to a world of Music-lovers previously unfamiliar with the Latin-American dance scene.
At BRIC House we are excited to celebrate the evolution of Cumbia and mark this moment in PueblaYork history not only with music but also with artistic video installations making for unforgettable experience.
BRIC’s House Party is all about creating a vibe where communities can connect with DJs on their turf and on their terms.
