Join the Nation of Lifesavers by learning Hands-Only CPR at our CPR Community Day on Sunday, September 29, at the MVP Arena in Albany!
The American Heart Association and the Innovation Partnership between Albany County and MVP Health Care want to train 600 people in the lifesaving skill of Hands-Only CPR in one exciting day! We will also be giving away a limited number of CPR & First Aid Youth Sports Training Kits to Albany County youth sports teams. 350,000 people in the U.S. experience sudden cardiac arrest in the community each year. 90% of those people die. 70 % of cardiac arrests that do not happen in the hospital, occur in homes and private residences. CPR, if performed immediately, can double or triple a cardiac arrest victim's chance of survival.
