None will be shared; each person will have their own set. 2. We recommend eating a fresh healthy meal beforehand and be well hydrated. 3. Come with an open mind and open heart 4. Please wear comfortable clothing with a loose shirt, to ensure access to the points that are being needled. 5. She completed her residency and fellowship training at the University of Miami. Dr. Weiner practices personalized and preventative medicine focusing offering individualized holistic treatment options. She is an advocate for and a leader in the Florida Medicinal Cannabis industry educating and helping people find relief and improve quality of life. She treats spine and musculoskeletal pain, chronic migraines, performs ultrasound guided joint injections, uses platelet rich plasma (PRP) and growth factors and is well trained in aesthetic medicine including botox. She is a faculty member at nova southeastern university where she trains medical students about cannabis medicine and Florida international university (FIU) where she is currently conducting research on using cannabis as a substitute for opioids in chronic pain. Prior to becoming an Acupuncture Physician, she graduated from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale with an associate degree in Culinary Arts, as well as Florida Gulf Coast University with an Associates in Communications. Merging the two professions, she is a Food Therapy Chef. Lauren is NCCAOM National Board Certified in Acupuncture, Herbology, Bio-Medicine and the Foundations of Chinese Medicine. She has trained in the United States and in China at the legendary Shaolin Temple and Beijing Gu Lou Hospital founded by descendants of imperial doctors.
