In Summer ‘16, Freshly Breemed, the creative project behind by DJ Breemz, brought the new food themed party to the district. The concept was simple: to birth a movement that celebrates creative life in Washington, DC. Chicken & Mumbo Sauce debuted at 2.5 Million social media impressions and capacity reached 700+ heads at the Blind Whino in DC. A year later, Chicken & Mumbo Sauce was stamped as the most impactful event in Washington, D.C. This summer, the district will come alive Saturday, July 8th, with a special Go-Go performance by New Impressionz. All of this will take place at the legendary Howard Theatre in Washington, D.C. DJ Breemz and host Hav Mercy will be crankin’ with DC heavy hitters: DJ Stevo, Dylan The Gypsy & Malcolm X (...no relation).
