Most of the world's chocolate is made from hardy, yet less flavorful Forastero cocoa beans. French-trained chocolatier Sherri Prentiss, founder of Cincinnati-based Velveteen Chocolate (currently selling at Dirt and OTR Candy Bar), will share with you her experiences from a recent trip to a cacao plantation in Costa Rica, and we'll taste chocolate from the much more fragrant, deeply flavored Criollo beans. Come away with tasting tips and expanded chocolate horizons.
