Claire Martin and Jim Mullen’s ‘Full House’ – Celebrating the music of Wes Montgomery
2018 marks the fiftieth anniversary of the passing of perhaps the most celebrated and iconic guitarist in jazz history, Wes Montgomery.
The self taught Grammy winning legend left an amazing body of work during his short life time which ended tragically early. Award winning UK jazz musicians - vocalist Claire Martin and guitarist Jim Mullen - pay their special tribute to this hugely influential and important jazz musician.
Featuring classic Montgomery tunes such as ‘Full House’, ‘Road Song’ and ‘Bumpin’ – Claire and Jim will also revisit some of the quintessential standard songs that Montgomery played throughout his career such as ‘Willow Weep for Me’, ‘If You Could See Me Now’ and ‘Goin’ out of My Head’.
