c/o pop xoxo - hugs and kisses from Cologne! Analog und digital, in Köln und in der Welt. Eine Special Edition des c/o pop Festivals und der c/o pop Convention.
Vom 21. bis zum 24. Oktober 2020 kombiniert c/o pop xoxo ganz pandemiegerecht Live-Events mit neuen digitalen Formaten. Das experimentelle Konzept umfasst Konzerte, Interviews, Talks, Workshops und Showcases aller Art. Je nach aktuellem Corona-Stand finden die Events live vor einem exklusiven Publikum und/oder in einer Online-Multi-Channel-Plattform statt, ergänzt um Aktivitäten auf unseren Social-Media-Kanälen.
Inhaltlich dreht sich alles um das Thema Popkultur - wir präsentieren euch die interessantesten Künstler*innen und Bands aus Köln, NRW und ganz Deutschland! Das Programm wird auf unserer Webseite veröffentlicht: https://c-o-pop.de.
Die c/o pop Convention ist der Konferenzbereich der c/o pop xoxo für Professionals aus der Musik- und Medienbranche sowie für junge Künstler*innen. Hier gibt es Talks, Panel-Diskussionen und Interviews aus verschiedenen Bereichen der Musik- und Medienbranche, um aktuelle Themenfelder der Branche zu beleuchten; Workshops und Tutorials, um spezifisches Know-How weiterzugeben und spannende Beiträge zu gesellschaftspolitischen und jugendkulturellen Themen wie Music & Tech und Games. Darüber hinaus bietet die Convention immer viel Raum und Zeit zum Vernetzen. Da diese Art des Zusammentreffens derzeit nicht möglich ist, verlagern wir auch unser Convention-Programm ins World Wide Web. Panels, Talks und Interviews werden live in den Streams gezeigt. Darüber hinaus gibt es sogenannte Breakout Sessions, das heißt Workshops, die abseits vom Stream über eine Videocall-Software stattfinden. Hier könnt ihr intensiv zu bestimmten Themen arbeiten, fast wie in normalen Workshops.
Tickets
Generell gibt es für die c/o pop xoxo keine Tickets zum Kauf. Das Programm im Stream und auf unseren Social Media-Kanälen ist für alle Menschen kostenlos und frei zugänglich. Auch für das Convention-Programm können Corona-bedingt keine Tickets für die Teilnahme vor Ort erworben werden. Lediglich für die Breakout Sessions ist eine kostenlose Anmeldung erforderlich. Hierfür benötigt ihr das kostenlose c/o pop xoxo Convention Online-Ticket, das ihr hier erhaltet.
Breakout Sessions und Online Networking
Nach der Registrierung beim Online-Ticket erhaltet ihr automatisch einen persönlichen Zugang zu unserer Delegates Database. Dort könnt ihr euch ab Ende September dann direkt kostenlos für die Breakout Sessions anmelden. Die Plätze sind begrenzt – es gilt: first come, first serve!
Zusätzlich habt ihr auch die Möglichkeit, euch in der Delegates Database, einem Networking-Tool, mit anderen Teilnehmer*innen zu vernetzen und auszutauschen. Ebenfalls for free!

c/o pop xoxo - hugs and kisses from Cologne! Both analog and digital, in Cologne and around the world. A special edition of the c/o pop Festival and the c/o pop Convention.
From October 21 to 24, 2020, c/o pop xoxo will be combining live events compliant with the COVID-19-regulations with new digital formats. The experimental concept includes concerts, interviews, talks, workshops and showcases of all kinds. The whole event will be streamed on our website - freely accessible to all! In addition, there will be activities on our social media channels.
Thematically everything revolves around pop culture. We are presenting the most interesting artists and bands from Cologne, NRW and all over Germany to you! The program will be published on our website: https://c-o-pop.de. One thing's for sure: It will be great!
The c/o pop Convention is the conference and professional section of c/o pop xoxo which will take place on October 23 and 24. There will be talks, panels and presentations from various fields of music and the music industry, as well as exciting contributions on music & tech, socio-political and youth cultural movements and on games.
Tickets
Due to the coronavirus regulations, it won’t be possible to purchase on-site tickets for this part of c/o pop xoxo. Like all other sections of the c/o pop xoxo program, the contributions will be presented online with free access for all visitors! In addition to the streaming program in October, we are also offering individual workshops that will take place online. In Breakout Sessions, small groups can deal with specific topics - almost as usual. To sign up for the breakout sessions, you need to get a c/o pop xoxo Convention Online Ticket. You can register for it free of charge here.
Breakout Sessions and Online Networking
After registering for the online ticket you will get access to our Delegates Database. There you can apply for the breakout sessions for free. Places are limited - first come, first serve!
Within the Delegates Database you will also have the opportunity to network and exchange ideas with other participants.
