COMMON THREADS: short films from the heart of our city Come celebrate some incredibly talented local filmmakers at Reel Causes’ first ever program of short films in association with Vancouver's Downtown Eastside Heart of the City Festival. This evening of film is dedicated to the intersections of our communities and we are thrilled to support and highlight the work of Intersections Media: Opportunities for Youth Society. We will also be screening the Vancouver premiere of Jacquie Gould's award winning short drama drawn from personal experiences of Vanouver's Downtown Eastside, Victory Square, as well as shorts from the local independent social justice filmmaking team Love Intersections. After the films, join Intersections Media and the filmmakers for a conversation about the common threads that bring together these diverse communities at the heart of our city.
