This year marks Blues On Whyte’s 40th anniversary, and we are celebrating this momentous occasion with a spectacular 3-day festival from August 2-4, 2024. Join us for live music on our outdoor stage, featuring a beer garden next to Whyte Ave’s best patio, delicious offerings from a variety of food trucks, and incredible performances from Canada’s most promising new talent. Enjoy an eclectic mix of genres including Funk, Rock, Soul, Pop, and Motown.

THE DEVOTEES
The Devotees is a blast from the Sidetrack Café past! Led by saxophonist Dave Babcock and fronted by vocalist Christian Mena, The Devotees are ready to bring the funk and keep you dancing all night long!
Their stellar 8-piece lineup features five original members, including Rubim de Toledo on bass, Chris Andrew on keyboards and Bob Tildesley on trumpet, and bringing their talents to the group are Audrey Ochoa on trombone, Steve Pady on guitar and Greg Ferguson on drums. Join them for a musical journey from ‘60s Soul, ‘70s Funk and ‘80s Pop, through ‘90s R&B to the hits of today.
THE STEADIES
The Steadies aren't invited to the party, they are the party. This high-energy groove-based band from Saskatoon mixes pop-rock with world-beat, funk and reggae, creating a sound they’ve dubbed ‘island-rock.' Frontman Earl Pereira is a 3-Time JUNO Award Nominee, and a founding member of Wide Mouth Mason.
KING MUSKAFA
King Muskafa is an energetic Edmonton based band, known for packing dance floors wherever they perform. This six-member group seamlessly fuses elements of reggae, ska, pop, and soul to create their own unique sound.
J SCOPE
As a rapper and singer with Ukrainian and Nigerian roots, J SCOPE brings a unique blend of cultural influences to his music. He has captivated audiences at the semifinals of the Eurovision Song Competition, showcasing his fresh, dynamic, and emotionally charged sound. J SCOPE's performances have resonated across Ukraine, Sweden, and Canada, where his passion for hip-hop, R&B, and Afrobeat shines through, leaving audiences inspired and engaged.
