Description
There's no better way to start off the new year than with a beer festival!
Come join us on Saturday 27th January for a day of enjoying international and local great beers. We've put together a mouth-watering tap list for the day and divided the festival into two sessions:
2pm - 6pm
7pm - 11pm
It's only €11.50 for a ticket to either session, plus booking fees, and this includes a reusable pint cup to keep, bring home, and place on your mantelpiece.
The beer lineup:
Sierra Nevada Celebration 6.8% fresh hop IPA.
Thornbridge Artesian 4.2% Elderflower and Gooseberry Pale Ale.
Vault City Brewing. 4.2% cloudy lemonade sour brewed with fresh lemon zest, Citra and Nelson Sauvin hops.
Kriek Boon lambic. Ttraditional Belgian Lambic 4% fruit-beer, brewed according to the traditional Lambic style of spontaneous fermentation.
Hofbräu Helles. The ledgebag of all Helles beers.
Original Seven Beverage Co. We'll have a hazy pale from the OG7 lads, Cork's newest craft brewery.
Hopefully Brewing Kickback pale ale. This is an easy-going 4.3% extra pale ale to kick back and relax with.
Kinnegar barrel-aged chocolate 9.5% imperial stout. This very special beer was aged in ex-bourbon barrels previously filled with Irish whiskey.
Plus all your favourite Rascals beers and limited edition releases.
DJs:
2pm - 6pm: Our good friend DJ Nacht makes his return to Rascals after a busy summer which included a stint at Body & Soul. Well known for his residency at Shebeen Chic a few years ago, DJ Nacht will have an irresistible spread of upbeat groovy dance tunes mixed with all sorts of funky house numbers.
7pm - 11pm: The one and only Lex Woo is back in Rascals HQ, having played at our first Happy Days festival in 2019. A fixture at Anseo with Mr. Whippy Sound System, he's played in some of the best venues in Dublin, Berlin, New York and Paris.
There'll be a chance to win free premium brewery tours and other prizes with our Marketing Manager Joe and his Spin the Wheel game! Head brewer Josh wants to take people on in Mario Kart with a competition he's calling Beat The Brewer - why yes, you can win prizes!
Beat the Brewer and Spin The Wheel will both happen upstairs in The Loft, in Rascals HQ, during the course of each session. You can sign up to take part and it's on a first-come, first-served basis.
And as if you needed further reasons to come along, D's Pretzels is making a return to Rascals with some delicious, fresh and 100% authentic German pretzels.
