APC Process
Jon will walk you through the whole APC process, looking at a complete overview of routes and pathways, competencies and levels, roles and responsibilities and each key milestone of your APC Journey.
Writing Competencies
So many candidates either don't understand how to write up their competencies or do a relatively poor job. Jon will discuss the competency levels and what they mean and how to effectively write up competency entries
Mandatory Competencies
Jon will walk you through the RICS Pathway guide Level 1, 2 or 3 minimum requirements as noted in the Mandatory competencies. An opportunity to gain a full and detailed understanding of what you should know about and suggestions of resources you could be utilising to help you appreciate what an APC Assessor may be looking at from a competent candidate.
Case Study
Jon will walk you though the best way to approach the APC Case Study and an opportunity for you to bring your thoughts to the live event to discuss what you are thinking of for your Case Study project.
Pre-Submission
Jon will discuss what is required, how to manage arc and what pitfalls to avoid when submitting documents to RICS for assessment or preliminary review.
Pre-Submission Document Critique
Candidates are invited to submit their draft documents and Jon will facilitate a live workshop discussing how the documents could be better produced. Jon wil select elements from any submitted documents to give guidance and tips on how to ACE your submission.
APC Final Assessment
Jon will walk you through the whole APC Final Assessment process and discuss how best to prepare and deliver the assessment interview. He'll discuss what assessors are looking for, how they ask questions and assess your competence. Jon will also discuss online assessment hints and tips.
APC Final Assessment Presentation
Jon will discuss the APC flavoured presentation skills plus guidance on online delivery of your 10 minute presentation.
APC Final Assessment Presentation Critique
Candidates are invited to submit their draft Case Study presentations and Jon will facilitate a live workshop discussing how the presentations could be better produced. Jon wil select elements from any submitted documents to give guidance and tips on how to ACE your presentation.
