More than 70 of America’s leading craft breweries are taking part in the prostate cancer awareness event traditionally held during the Great American Beer Festival weekend. Because of the pandemic the event has shifted to a virtual format that still allows the brewing community to help reach men through the universal language of beer.
Tickets for the Denver Rare Beer Tasting XII: Distanced Yet Together are $60 and now on sale. Tickets buyers will be given instructions on how to download the event app and a code that provides all-access to attend the three day online event.
Because we could all use a good beer festival right about now.
If you have always wanted to experience one of America's top craft beer events, here is your chance from the comfort of your own home. Because of the pandemic, we’ve shifted to a virtual format that allows the brewing community to safely help us reach men through the universal language of beer.
In addition to the online experience, you can bid in the Beer Lovers Online Auction on unique collectibles to raise funds and bucket list beer experiences, including working alongside a professional brewer for a day, inviting your friends to a private barrel tasting hosted by a brewmaster or gathering your crew for a curated biergarten dinner.
What's a beer festival without beer? Don't worry. We've got you covered.
Through our collaboration with the Rare Beer Club and Garden Path Fermentation you can order an exclusive blend, The Whole Sum Parts. Additionally, more than two dozen breweries from coast to coast will be hosting special releases featuring collaboration brews and rare beers pulled from their private cellars.
So weather you are in North Carolina or Washington, New Jersey or Texas, and a number of places in between, you will be able to find some truly special beers at participating breweries. Please follow brewery rules and local regulations, wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
Each day during the event we will feature a virtual bottle share. We encourage you to pick up one of the special release beers or dig into the back of your beer fridge for a beer you've been saving for a special occasion. Now is the time to crack it open and share it with the world.

Your Chance to be Part of the Denver Rare Beer Tasting Excitement
Since 2009 beer fans from across the U.S. and around the world have attended the Denver Rare Beer Tasting to sample rare, exotic and vintage beers. If you've always wanted to attend this highlight on the craft beer calendar, here's your chance to do it remotely! You can check out photos from past years and get an idea about why people look forward to this event. Just like the live event, Denver Rare Beer Tasting XII: Distanced Yet Together is your opportunity to rub elbows with stars from the craft brewing universe while supporting men's health.
The Denver Rare Beer Tasting is one of hardest tickets to come by during Great American Beer Festival weekend. In fact, it has been sold out for 11 consecutive years. It's a time for beer fans and some of America's leading brewers to come together for an incredible afternoon of beer passion. Things will be different this year, but one thing remains the same: the beer community uniting to fight prostate cancer. We will be distanced yet together, celebrating craft beer.
Pints for Prostates is a 501(c)3 non-profit charity and all net proceeds from Denver Rare Beer Tasting go towards the group’s awareness mission and help to fund the education and support programs of the Us TOO International Prostate Cancer Education and Support Network, and free prostates cancer screening programs provided by the Prostate Conditions Education Council.
Note: Your $60 ticket is all-inclusive, including ticket service and credit card processing fees (approximately $7) and shipping and handling fees for glass and t-shirt (approximately $15). Ticket price does not include beer or beer purchases at remote brewery events.
About Pints for Prostates
Pints for Prostates reaches men through the universal language of beer to encourage them to take charge of their health. The group was founded by prostate cancer survivor and beer writer Rick Lyke in 2008. The grassroots effort raises awareness among men about the importance of regular men’s health screenings by making appearances at beer festivals, social networking and pro bono advertising. According to the National Cancer Institute, approximately 191,930 new prostate cancer cases are expected to be diagnosed in 2020 in the U.S. More information is available at www.pintsforprostates.org. Pints for Prostates also has a presence on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram (@pints4prostates).
