This meeting is for staff from Nottingham Schools Trust (NST) schools only.
At our autumn term D&T Network meeting, Lol Conway (Curriculum Consultant for the Design and Technology Association) will be delivering a CPD session for us on 'Practical Mechanisms'. This will be a practical session looking at how we can use programming and control (Crumble) to elevate our mechanisms projects, with a focus on a fairground ride as one practical example.
Attendees are asked to bring their laptops to the session, and to have downloaded Crumble onto your laptops in advance. It is completely free; you just need to click here and follow the instructions. https://redfernelectronics.co.uk/crumble-software/. You may already have downloaded this software previously if you have attended an earlier D&T network meeting with Lol where Crumble was used. But if not, just be aware that you may need to seek permission from Schools IT to download this software (due to security permissions on school machines). Give them a call on 0115 9150900 if you need any support with this and they will be able to help you.
Contact Emily.Humphreys@nottinghamschoolstrust.org.uk if you have any questions.
