Join Leeds City Council and Leeds ICB's Integrated Digital Service on Friday 7 June at the Park Plaza in Leeds, where we will be looking to answer the question of how is emerging tech shaping health, social and primary care both locally and nationally. Who should attend: Commissioners, Heads of Services, Health and Care Staff, Programme Leads, Project Managers, and others are encouraged to come along and find out how emerging tech is being used and developed to improve the lives of patients and their health and care outcomes. Suppliers, organisations and individuals working across the health and care sectors are also invited to attend an event that will bring together speakers and delegates from a wide range of areas including: Rob Webster CBE, Chief Executive, NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board Tom Riordan CBE, Chief Executive at Leeds City Council Professor Helen Margetts OBE Heather Dawes, Chief Data Scientist, UK and Head of Responsible AI, UST Johnny Chagger, Associate Director of Information Governance, NHS Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust Julia Millman, Research & Innovation Programme Director, NHS Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust And more... This day-long, person-centred programme will be packed with learning and engagement opportunities aiming to inform, excite and equip attendees with new knowledge, ideas, and contacts. From presentations, round table discussions and breakout sessions, participants will be encouraged to have their say and discuss some of the emerging technology that is shaping how care is provided by both local authority and healthcare providers. Prepare to be inspired by local, regional, and national examples of people leading, delivering and innovating in the field of emerging technology. From affording solutions to age-old provision challenges , through to the role AI will play in the long term future of healthcare provision, this is an opportunity to learn, connect and contribute to this constantly evolving area.
