The phrase ‘cooking up a storm’ will take on a bold new meaning, as you and a friend are invited to a truly one-of-a-kind immersive restaurant, where guests will 'set sail' for the Caribbean seek out some of the world's finest cocktails accompanied by an on-board jet-black menu. Yet, as thunderstorms and lightning tearing across the horizon and the air thick with tension, diners must buckle up, don their waterproofs and be prepared to feast at a table plunged into a raging storm. The one-off pop-up, aptly named The Kraken Dine In a Perfect Storm after its signature cocktail ‘The Perfect Storm’, the Mighty Kraken has constructed state-of-the-art technology and special effects to authentically recreate the extreme weather of a perfect storm indoors – including intense real rainfall, howling winds and booming thunder. BE WARNED THOUGH! Dining in the perfect storm is NOT an experience for the faint of heart, or those that shy away at the thought of flinging themselves into a watery oblivion. WARNING: This event will be simulating a storm and as such there is a risk of getting wet. Please note that the organisers will take no responsibility for damage to personal property. The organisers will provide a water-resistant jacket to diners but cannot guarantee that attendees won’t get wet at some point during the performance.WARNING: Strobe lights are used during this performance.
