Learn some new techniques and cover your Christmas shopping all at once in this weekend workshop!This class is all about loosening up, letting the paint flow, and putting the brushes aside! Spend the weekend dripping, splattering, and pouring to your heart’s content, and creating six small abstract paintings that are perfect for gifts. Explore Golden’s liquid paint lines – the Fluid acrylics and High Flow acrylics – and discover how to use them for washes, splashes and pours. Play with mediums that allow your paint to flow, like the Clear Tar Gel that drips like honey, the Self-Leveling Gel that creates a resin-like surface, or the GAC 800 which flows like cream and gives a glass-smooth surface. Whether you want to drip like Pollock or pour like Lynda Benglis,this workshop will show you what products and techniques to use to get there. Cost: $225. All materials included. Space limited.
