Driven to Cure is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit that is raising funds for those who are researching rare forms of kidney cancer. Drive to Cure was started by Andrew Lee who has been diagnosed with a Rare Kidney Cancer called HLRCC and has been undergoing treatments at NIH NCI. Andrew has seen first hand the effects that this cancer has had on others and has created this nonprofit to raise funds for more research.
The nonprofit started in early 2016 and has since raised $100,000 with the goal of raising another $50,000 by year end. Driven to Cure's objective of its first Fall Fundraiser on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at The Fillmore Silver Spring is to raise that additional $50,000. We need your help and support to get to that number.
Doors open at 6pm with Live Music by the JoyB Band, Silent and Live Auction and more!
